Derek Lee
Founder

With an aim to revolutionize portfolio management with technology, Derek manages the overall asset management business with focus on implementing investment strategies and searching for unique alternative opportunities. He has more than 15 years of experience in investment and started his career in fixed income at UBS. He later joined Deutsche Bank as a warrant and exotic equity derivatives trader. In 2011, he moved to buy-side, taking up the role of portfolio manager at China Alpha Investment Management Limited where he deployed a long biased absolute return equity strategy. Since then, he accumulated experiences in managing credit, equity, and private equity before founding Pollock Asset Management Limited.
Derek graduated with Dual Degree (Summa Cum Laude) in Math and Finance from the University of Pennsylvania (The Wharton School and the College of Arts and Sciences), USA.
Heather Fung
Chief Operating Officer

Ms. Heather Fung has worked in both the sell-side and the buy-side of asset management industry, accumulating over 14 years of experience. She started her career at HSBC and later joined Deutsche Bank's Prime Brokerage team, where she worked with 100 fund managers across Asia. Heather then worked as a Chief Operating Officer in a long/short fixed income fund that mainly invests in the Greater China region. Before joining Pollock, she was with a single family office that invests in different asset classes. She oversaw their middle and back office functions.
Heather holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto.
